Resolution:
Enable "Allow all Sametime Connect features to be used with integrated clients" in the default policy for the Sametime server.
Access the Sametime Administration over the web: http://sametimeserver.com/stcenter.nsf
Log in as the system administrator.
Click the "Administer the server" link.
Click "Policies" in the left-hand contents pane.
Click the link for "Sametime Default Policy."
Enable "Allow all Sametime Connect features to be used with integrated clients"
Restart Sametime Server
